Mine isn't on box rest but I like him to always have something to eat, and the haynets the yard gives overnight (he is on livery) are big enough to meet his requirements but not big enough to occupy him all night. So as well as his night time haynet I give him a big trug with mixed graze on and plain oat straw, and one of those compressed grass/fibre blocks. He thinks that is brilliant, and usually has a little bit left in the morning, which is what I am after.
