I’ve tried to change the privacy to public, hopefully that has fixed it!

Do you think the weather caused her problems?

I have no idea, but it’s the current leader on the “what caused this this time” board.

The frustrating thing was she’d just had osteo/massage treatment the week before she went “off” this time, and she was the best she’s ever been in her hindquarters; both sides were equally pliant and no blocks in her SI or hips. It was cold when she had her last treatment, certainly sitting at 0 or a couple of degrees below (I remember as I was handing out heat packs to everyone left right and centre!)

Then we had a cold snap and the temps went down to about -15 overnight for 3-4 days, and daytime temps were barely reaching 0. At this time she was out in a frozen field with two rugs on, with a total weight of 600g.

Her lunging rug has 200g fill, and she has worn it for all of our inhand walks.

2 weeks ago last Saturday I had a lesson, only in walk as I had a migraine, and she felt awful, felt lame in all 4 legs she was so stiff; but also she had very clicky joints.

I’ve reintroduced some supplements, and added a tiny bit of oil into her diet.

At the moment she is happy enough and keen to go out on a morning, but her level of discomfort continues to vary from day to day.

I emailed the videos to her physio, who is coming out tomorrow, and she will have a full assessment again.
